Beeston's Christmas 2014 Celebration Day & Lights Switch-On Event

A day of festive fun and entertainment in Beeston Nottingham to celebrate the Christmas Lights 2014 Switch-On.

Christmas 2014 will arrive in Beeston on 29th November with a fun packed day of festive entertainment throughout the Town.

There will be live music and performances, Santas Grotto and a magnificent firework display following the Christmas Lights Switch-On at around 4.30pm from Broadgate Park.

Live Entertainment on the stage at Broadgate Park

• 2.00-2.30pm - Chilwell Military Wives Choir
• 2.40-2.55pm - Maxine Robinson - a fantastic local 'Soulful singer'
• 3.00-3.15pm - 'PUSH' Dance Group
• 3.15-3.30pm - Ash Sethi - Singer/Songwriter

• 4.30-4.45pm - 'The Beeston Christmas 2014 Lights Switch-On'!
  Broxtowe's Mayor Stan Heptinstall will switch on Beeston's Christmas lights and will be joined onstage with the cast of the Dazzle 'Frozen' Christmas Show.
  
  
• 4.45-5.00pm - More live stage music from Emma Bladon-Jones followed by the Spartacus Jazz Trio
  
  
• 6.00pm - Beeston's Christmas 2014 Fireworks Display!
  
  
• 6.05-7.00pm - The fabulous Urban Intro Funk-Soul Band

Chilwell Methodist Church

• 11.00am - 5.30pm - A Giant Snow Globe will be outside the Chilwell Road Methodist Church and every Saturday throughout December. Have your photograph taken inside a festive giant snow scene. Free Entry.
• 2.30-5.00pm - Season Of Lights event in the Methodist Church. The Season of Lights celebrates some of the global festivals such as Advent, Diwali, Eid, Hanukkah, Chinese Moon festival and more with dance, music, arts, crafts and food. - Free fun for everyone!
