The centre of Nottingham will be transformed into a spectacular Christmas festive scene for 2016.

Attractions include, a Victorian themed Christmas Market, Outdoor Ice Rink, Festive Christmas Bars and fairground rides to entrtain the children.

Victorian Christmas Market
Saturday 19th November 2016, until Saturday 24th December 2016.

Nottingham boasts one of the best Christmas Markets in the UK (The Telegraph). Over 50 Victorian themed stalls located in Old Market Square and surrounding area, will offer the widest variety of Christmas gifts to buy for your loved ones. From handmade wooden gifts to bespoke jewellery and ladies fashions, silks and winter woolies, Artisan cheeses and home-made cakes, fudges and sweets... and so much more!

Outdoor Ice Skating Rink
At the heart of Old Market Square is the magnificent Ice Skating Rink. All abilities from aged 4 years of age upwards are welcome. More details and pre booking can be found here.

Christmas Lights Switch-On
Thursday 24th November 2016

Put a date in your diary to come along to the Old Market Square to be a part of Nottingham's 2016 Christmas lights Switch-On. Llive entertainment from the Bandstand starting at 5.30pm with the lights switch-on at around 6.30pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

Winter Wonderland Bars
Saturday 19th November 2016– Sunday 8th January 2017

Two unique bars located within the Winter Wonderland will allow you to relax and absorb the festive atmosphere at your leisure.

There is the Victorian styled bar selling quality ales, wines as well as soft drinks with a covered seating area and a great view overlooking the outdoor ice-rink.

The popular Helter Skelter bar is back for 2016 on Long Row, where you can sample festive drinks to get you into the Christmas spirit, such as hot toddies, mulled wine and spiced cider.
